Embryomobile is a completely innovative application from Institut Marquès. It allows patients to watch the development of their embryos in the EmbryoScope incubator. They can do this in real time, from the day of In Vitro Fertilisation until the day of the embryo transfer, five days later.
From home or anywhere else, using a mobile phone or a device with internet access, they can observe the same images that the embryologists see in the laboratory.
A scientific study by Institut Marquès, presented at various European congresses, has demonstrated that observing embryos in real time on the Embryomobile increases pregnancy rates by up to 11 %. Additionally, on analysing the results, it was noted that as the number of times patients observed their embryos increased, so did the pregnancy rate.
This study also revealed, for the first time, the impact of emotions on the outcome of Assisted Reproduction treatments. The greater receptivity of the uterus could be explained by the emotional connection that exists between a woman and her embryos when she can see them daily before implantation.
